Will hold auditions on September 9th, 2018 from 2pm-6pm at Weston Christian Academy, 1420 Indian Trace, Weston, FL 33326. These advanced groups, as well as the intermediate level Youth All Star Cellos, Youth All Star Violins, Youth All star Saxophones & Youth All Star Chamber Brass will be accepting registration for the season and auditions for placement.

Audition Requirements:
All Star Brass-Advanced; a two-octave scale on ‘F’ concert, and a scale of your choice. One prepared piece, or two short excerpts of pieces, which demonstrate your ability. There may be some sight-reading.
Youth All Star Winds-Advanced; a two-octave ‘D’ Major (concert) scale, and a short piece, which best demonstrate your ability on the instrument.
Chamber Brass-Intermediate;a one-octave ‘Bb’ Major (concert) scale, and a short piece, which best demonstrates your ability on the instrument.
Youth All Star Strings; a three-octave scale on ‘G’ or ‘C’ concert, and a scale of your choice. One prepared piece, or two short excerpts of pieces, which best demonstrate your ability. There may be some sight-reading.
Youth All Star Violins; a two-octave ‘D’ Major (concert) scale, and a short piece which best demonstrate your ability on the instrument.
Youth All Star Cellos; a two-octave ‘D’ Major (concert) scale, and a short piece which best demonstrate your ability on the instrument.
Youth All star Saxophones; a ‘D’ Major Scale and a two octave scale of your choice.One prepared piece, or two short excerpts of pieces, which best demonstrate your ability. There may be some sight-reading.
Meeting times:
Youth All Star Brass meet from 7:15-8:15 pm, on 22 Mondays, at WCA.
Chamber Brass meet from 6:00-7:00 pm, on 22 Mondays, at WCA
Youth All Star Winds meet from 7:15-8:15 pm on 22 dates TBA at WCA
Youth All Star Strings meet from 7:15-8:15 pm on 22 Tuesdays at WCA
Youth All Star Violins meet from 6:00-7:00 pm on 22 dates TBA at WCA
Youth All Star Cellos meet from 6:00-7:00 pm on 22 Tuesdays at WCA
Youth All Star Saxophones will meet 22 sessions at WCA, time to be determined, on a Monday or a Tuesday.
Fees: $250.00 for the season for either group, payable in advance.
