Youth All Star Auditions for 2019-2020 Season! June 8th, from 10 am to 4 pm…

We are excited!  Our dream of providing young people an hour of chamber music each week led by the finest performers who are also excellent teachers has come true!  The results have been wonderful, with several students experiencing greater growth in an hour of chamber music than they would in double the time of a traditional after-school program.  And that extra time can mean dinner with family, time to study for a test or to enjoy another activity.  Add to that our super convenient location and the saved commute time, and suddenly everyone has time for an enriched musical experience with South Florida’s finest coaches!

We recently had a wonderful masterclass with a terrific guest coach.  At the conclusion of the rehearsal she was invigorated and excited by what she had experienced, and commented on how wonderful it is to have the opportunity to play chamber music at such a tender age as the Youth All Star program.  Our guest coach suddenly realized that she had not had the opportunity to play chamber music UNTIL SHE WAS IN COLLEGE!  Another guest coach said he could sense the energy and commitment of our students, and noted that we really have something special!  It might be just what your family is looking for as well.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!  The 2019-2020 SEASON HOPES TO OFFER TWO FULL ORCHESTRA CONCERTS!!  Each full orchestra concert will be a festival orchestra, rehearsing one weekend and performing the following weekend.  One concert over two weekends in the Fall, a second concert over two weekends in the spring!

We ecstatic to announce our community auditions for our second season!  Auditions for the Youth All Star will take place on June 8th, 2019, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at 1420 Indian Trace in Weston, FL.  Please hit the contact tab  above to schedule an audition.  Current members do not need to audition again, but there will be a seating audition in the fall for all members.  Times are limited, and selection will be first come first served.
