We would like to highlight some of the amazing accomplishments of the they young musicians who make up, Youth All Star!

We salute Nico, who was one of only 100 high school musicians selected from across the United States to participate in the 2019 Macy’s Great American Marching Band and march in their storied Thanksgiving Day Parade.   This is the second year YAS! was represented in the Great American Marching Band!  Our founding member, Jacob, was a featured trumpet player in the 2018 version of the band.

Music is not only a joy to create and listen to, it is also a key element in finding one’s voice and gaining confidence, in learning to be a leader AND a follower and work on a team, in lighting up more of your brain than any other activity-so much so that one brain researcher said that “music is the highest use for the brain”!
