Celebrated violinist, coach and educator Francesca Puro is currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Florida State University while she pursues her degree in violin performance. Her demeanor is calm but her music making is passionate. When Francesca breaks down music for students it is so thoroughly approachable that it is absorbed both simply and deeply.

With scores of performances, masterclasses and lessons to her credit, Francesca has been with YAS! since nearly the beginning, has been a featured artist faculty member for the summer camp for several summers and has worked with YAS! founder Dr. Brubeck for more than a dozen years.

Her breadth is incredible, from studies with Carol Cole at her alma mater, The Harid Conservatory at Lynn University to courses and masterclasses is Suzuki to extensive solo performances. One f her spcialities has become fiddle music, and her fiddle class at the summer camp is a highlight!

The 2025 Weston music Festival will feature some big and exciting changes! join us on our musical adventure. Camp is scheduled from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday, June 9-13, with a final concert on the 13th.

Held at the beautiful and relaxed country setting of Christ Covenant Church in Southwest Ranches, Florida, it is an easy commute for most, with plenty of spacious parking!

Christ Covenant Church is located at 4700 SW 188th Ave Southwest Ranches, FL 33332

Camp includes chamber music, fiddle class, cello quartet, masterclasses and pull-out groups; all with hand-selected literature by camp director, Francesca Puro.
